I am not sure if we're officially in Spring and completely skipped Winter and snow ( although it was pretty windy and cold for awhile )?
Rounding up from last year I think I wore about 6 skirts and only 5 made it onto the blog. For the rest of the 359 days I was wearing jeans, trousers, and leggings ( but not as pants ). This year I made a promise to myself to start wearing more skirts and dresses. I am not sure if I will be able to keep the promise but the day I wore this outfit I guess I'd consider it day one. I also started going to the gym, so I guess I will become more comfortable wearing dresses in the near future. Who knows?
This beautiful buttoned up maxi skirt was only a whopping $15 and let me just say it was worth it. I have been eying a skirt like this but I wasn't sure how it was going to look. Why? Well because I tend to avoid dresses and skirts all together BUT like I said I wanted to start dressing more like a girl while still keeping my minimal androgynous style.
