Oh, yes what a crazy couple of days it has been!
Saturday:
I was invited to a little outing called " Walk With Locals " and its basically a bunch of creative minds ( photography , blogging, vlogging etc.. ) coming together and expressing their love for the craft. Just a bunch of people walking around and snapping photos of each-other. It was also a great way to network and for me being a blogger introduce myself to new photographers. I am actually editing my vlog for that as well so that will be coming soon. I kinda don't want to spoil anything so I will leave that & you guys will just have to watch my vlog! Super excited about it.
Sunday:
On Sunday, I met up with my friend Sylvia and her boyfriend Brandon for brunch. We ended up agreeing on our favourite brunch spot ' Busboys & Poets '. I am telling you right now if you guys have one in your area you SHOULD go! That place is always packed whenever I go. That is how amazing the food is and let me say the atmosphere is just as amazing. They have poetry readings, a book section if you want to read whilst you wait for your table or just want to make a purchase. They have books for EVERYONE there. I didn't get a chance to vlog about it because I would much rather make conversation without pulling out a camera to make it awkward. My friends don't really like being infront of the camera. I, myself get super shy sometimes when I am out vlogging. I feel like people are watching me but I honestly have to get over that fear.
Monday:
I welcomed my babe Lilia to DC with open arms. I actually went and picked her and her Mother up from the airport and they were both the sweetest ever! Also, let me just say that Lilia's place is like a bloggers dream! I am also excited to show her around DC and to genuinely be her friend. I know it's scary moving from a new country not knowing anyone and having to start over. I am excited to share all the trouble ( in a good way ) that we are going to get into!
