Oh man! Sorry that I haven't posted a new Beauty Tuesdays post in awhile guys! It has been a little over a month since I did a review & I know a few of you guys were wondering if the series was over but I am here to reassure you that is it not! I actually was really sick so I had to take a break from creating content to get better!
So, I stocked up on a few a Beauty Tueadays posts for you guys! Yay!
I had the opportunity to try 2 products from a company called Cosmedix. If you've never heard if them no worries...the most important thing you need to know is that they are 100% cruelty free.
The products I received were the Gentle Cleanser & the Purity Solution ( cleansing oil ).
The Benefit Cleanser is a lightweight, foaming cleanser rich in antioxidants that removes that removes debris and pollutants from your skin. It also removes stubborn makeup whilst being gentle enough for sensitive skin.
Pros:
You've done the unthinkable and fell asleep with your makeup on... oh the horror! Okay, we've all done it before even when your not supposed too. To be honest that is what I did. So, reading up on the Cleanser... I decided to use it first thing in the morning after brushing my teeth.
My face did feel refreshed which is always a plus in my book. Plus being cruelty free is always a plus in my book.
Cons:
Yes, it's an awesome product but if you're on a budget like I am then dishing out $40 for products. It can add up.
Another con would be the smell. It is not my cup of tea but the product does work well.
Next was the Cleansing Oil. It contains a blend of Olive, Moringa, Kukui, Safflower, Sesame and Argan Oil. Works to break down dirt, excess oil ( which works for my oily skin ) and nourishes the skin with vitamins.
I use this as my makeup remover cause I have been using unscented baby wipes. No shame. Thankful that I have an actual product to use!
Cons:
Just like the Cleanser I cannot deal with the price. I always try and find you guys affordable items that wont break the bank.
Overall 8/10
I think that this is one product that I wouldn't mind dishing out $40 ( the oil ). I would cry on the inside swiping my card. I have another exciting review coming next week so stay tuned guys!
