You know when you are in a funk and someone asks you to hangout a week in advance and you say yes but when the day comes around you actually dread leaving your house? I made plans with my friend Marj (
you can check out her amazing instagram page here ) to meet her at one of the local malls called Pentagon City Mall but before I met up with her I visited this new restaurant called
Basic Burger. It was by far one of the best sandwiches I ever had! Big shoutout to Jim who was our bartender for the recommendations! Our food was delicious and my Vanilla Cream Soda with cane sugar was life!

Marj and I visited a few stores and of course temptation kicked in and I did a little shopping. I also bought a bathing suit. Which is something that I haven't owned/worn in years! Literally! It's an olive green ribbed one piece that I surprisingly loved! Plus it was also 50% off and you guys know that I am a sucker for an amazing sale.
