Oh, I was dreading writing this post...but then I realized something. Lately I have been extremely happy with what I have been creating lately. I didn't want to blend in anymore when it came to my feed! I wanted to be different. I wanted my instagram feed to stand out now especially since the rise of instagram bloggers.

I personally think that it all tied into when I decided to cut my hair. My outlook on a lot if things changed after that. I no longer wanted to be in competition with anyone. I also didn't want to compare myself to anyone anymore. It did give me a chance to sit back and observe though. Why was everyone going bat shit crazy to have a feed that looked like someone else's? Why were people obsessing over having an orange feed?

So, I told myself that it was completely okay that certain brands had a " look " they wanted. It just meant that I was able to work with even better brands!

I went from having a minimal feed to moody/contrast to where I am now. I love my black & white feed. It makes me feel like I am in my own personal Noir film.

I am on my way to a happier and healthier lifestyle and the first thing I decided to clean up was my social media!

NYC is literally my second home and it doesn't matter how many times I have visited... I still like to play tourist in the city that never sleeps.

 

There are so many places that I haven't seen and want to explore in the city. Thankfully I am never alone and I always drag along my friends on my adventures. That includes coffee spots, shooting locations and taking the wrong train which tends to be the trend every time I visit.

 

I am excited be back in the city next week! I have so much exciting things coming to my blog! Stay tuned!

The world of blogging has definitely opened up a few doors for me & I have also met some amazing people through blogging as well. The other thing being that I have been creating opportunities for myself rather than sit around hoping and praying something falls into my lap.

 

For example! I had the opportunity to attend the Ideal Of Sweden World Tour Brunch Event in NYC and I couldn't be more excited! I am thankful towards Nathalie & the other ladies for putting this all together. They were sincerely the nicest ladies ever & I really want to meet them again!

 

The event was held at the gorgeous Kimberly Hotel on the penthouse level. The view was breathtaking the interior was just as beautiful and all of the influencers were just super stylish!

 

Ideal of Sweden debuted their newest collection and it is gorgeous! The Red Marble and the Geometric Puzzle are definitely my favourites but the whole collection makes me swoon.

Man, I am loving these Beauty Tuesdays posts and I want to say a massive thank you to all of you guys who love them as much as I do! For this post I wanted to talk about this brand called " BioClarity "!

BioClarity uses Floralux in its products. Okay, you might be asking yourself what is Floralux! Well it is a clever form of green chlorophyll that brightens every leaf. It lights up your skin from within! It also has a nourishing antioxidant powerhouse that reduces redness, feeds and defends cells. To put it mildly.... it boots your natural beauty!

As you guys know I have become some sort of a beauty product junkie in the past couple of months. Not that I am complaining. I love it! Just have to create some space. My beauty shell is way too full.

This is a collaboration with BioClarity but all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own! I cannot express that enough! You can definitely check out their website here.

I was given the chance to try out the Clear Skin Routine kit which includes a Cucumber + Green Tea & Chamomile Cleanser, the Salicylic Acid + Oat Kernel Acne Treatment Gel & the Power of Green Floralux. They also sent me a Hydrate Skin Smoothie which contains Floralux, Argan and Olive Oil. I will jump into the pros and the cons now.

I will be starting with the Cleanser. The Cleanser banishes ick and oil with a nickel-sized dab amount massaged into wet skin. It says to use in the morning and in the evening but I have been using this Cleanser in the morning right after brushing my teeth.

Pro's: 

Lightweight

Cool Sensation after wash

Travel Size

The price for the kit is great as well!

Con's: 

Didn't really notice a significant difference using the product

Next up would be the Complexion Perfection! This step is definitely self explanatory. You just place the gel on the areas with your fingertips ( a thin layer ) and let it sink into your skin. Make sure the gel dries before moving onto step 3. I would normally skip this step because I don't have acne but I have treated it for those random pimples that pop up when I am stressed.

Pro's: 

Definitely helps with acne or pimples

The size is perfecto for traveling ( by bus or plane )

A little goes a LONG way!

Con's:  

The smell! I dislike it!

The next step would the Restore. You smooth about 2-3 pumps of the Floralux all over your face. It feeds and defends cells with an alphabet of nutrients. Simple right?

Pro's:

Lightweight

Makes my face feel refreshed and bright

Con's:

I hate the smell

Lastly we can the Hydrating Skin Smoothie. It is a breathable moisturizer that hydrates your skin. It softens your skin without the excess oiliness and stickiness. Which is what we all thrive for.

Pro's: 

It smells amazing! My favourite one for sure

Vegan & cruelty free

Soothed my skin after standing outside way too long

Con's:

If you do not purchase this with the set then it is $20. Which isn't bad but taking the size into consideration then yes.

Overall I would rather this a 6/10.

This is my personal opinion. Just because it doesn't work for me doesn't mean it wouldn't work for someone else. I personally feel like this brand didn't work for me because I do not suffer from adult acne. I have clear skin with the occasional stress pimple here and there.
