A New Year generally means new things, right?
Well, the first thing that I want to share with you is my new hair. It's weird having dark hair again, even if it's ' Midnight Blue '. I wanted something completely different for the new year and feel happy with the way that it turned out. Another change that I wanted was a haircut. I contemplated growing it out, but my hair was in such an awkward phase that I didn't even want to show anyone how my hair looked anymore. I was embarrassed to say the least. I didn't trust anyone to cut my hair because of a terrible salon experience, but then I had a wonderful experience ever with my friend and old coworker, Laura. She decided that her heart and home was in Miami and moved, leaving me with no one to cut my hair.
Anyways enough of that.
Since the end of last year ( feels weird to say that ) I have been getting into wearing patched clothing ( see how I styled patched denim here ) lately and even though I have styled this particular ' Denim Jacket ' before, I think it's the perfect staple piece. Styled with an oversized ' Chambray Shirt ' and an oversized sweater, I opted for the chance to style another ' Canadian Tuxedo ' in my own way.
I have been taking my iPad with me to work everyday and writing during my breaks and when I am off work, sitting in Starbucks. Plus, this year I am looking to move into a bigger and better apartment. Also in a safer area.
