Oh my goodness! I seriously cannot believe that we are in July already! Where has the time gone? Weren't we just complaining that January was to long of a month? Not me I never complain because that is my birthday month and well I love to celebrate.
I am currently sitting at my desk..writing out so many blog posts for you guys because I feel bad that I have been neglecting my blog readers again. To be honest right now whilst I am writing this I am also masking it up. Whenever I feel the need to sit down and write things out for you guys...I stop what I am doing and just let my fingers take over. Now only if it was this easy for Flatlays. I have been kinda stuck when it comes to creating new flatlays for you lovelies on Instagram. Which is where the much needed vacation comes into play.
Last month one of my lovely readers sent me a DM on instagram pointing out that I only wrote 1 Beauty Tuesdays post and you guys were not happy about that at all. So, whilst some of you guys now know what I was going through mentally. I realised that writing kept me sane and this was something that I loved doing so why didn't I just neglect my instagram instead and focused more on my blog and my writing?
So, that's what I am going to do. I cannot guarantee a new blog post everyday ( let's be real now ) as much as I would love to write one everyday. I sure as heck wont know what to write about but maybe could be a challenge soon?
This blog post will be about a brand called BLISS! I actually worked with Bliss once and I loved their products and now we just have this amazing relationship! They surprise me all the time when they come out with new products and of course I always unbox their packages on my instagram stories and you guys seem to love them as much as I do!
I recently received 2 new packages from them introducing some of their new products. Let's start with Face before moving onto Body. This isn't the first time that I have used Bliss Beauty Products but this will the first time writing a detailed review on them.
I have tried their Lemon + Sage Body Butter ( which I ran out of but they changed their packaging and sent me a new one ). Their Softening Socks, Ingrown Pads( which are a lifesaver if you shave ) and their Mask & Peel ( which wasn't my fav but my Mum loved them ).
I currently have their Pore Patrol Clay Mask, Mighty Marshmallow Mask, Lemon & Sage BodyButter & Grapefruit & Aloe Body Butter. These are the items I will be reviewing in this post. Remember in the beginning of this post when I said I was currently wearing a mask on my face whilst writing this post? I am currently using their Mighty Marshmallow Mask. So, since I have this one on right now....it only makes sense to start with this one right?
I normally would do a Pro & Con list but since I don't really have any Cons about this product other than the size but with this product...a little goes a long way. It's also very affordable. I use a mixture of Bliss and Saturday Skin & my skin literally glows. My skin looks so good to the point where I don't even need to wear makeup. I even had makeup artists tell me that I didn't need to wear any makeup but alas I still wear the occasional makeup when I am shooting for the blog or instagram.
A quick description about the Mighty Marshmallow Mask:
- This airy whipped mask – with a brightening boost of marshmallow root extract – delivers a surge of hydration to instantly reveal a new luminosity.
- Revives dull, lackluster skin and delivers a fresh, “lit from within” glow
- Visibly smooths uneven skin tone and discoloration
- Hypoallergenic & dermatologist tested
Next I will talk about the Pore Patrol which is a Deep Detox Clay Mask. When I first used this mask...I was a little surprised. Firstly being the packaging. Normally my Clay Masks are in little jars but this was like a mousse. I thought it was pretty cool and it is lightweight and smells amazing. It's about 57ml and it costs less than $20 which is another win in my book.
A quick description about the Pore Patrol Deep Detox Clay Mask:
- This silky soufflé mask, aerated with a combination of powerful clays, deeply cleanses skin and minimizes the look of pores, without leaving it dry or tight.
- French green and Kaolin micro-clays combine with willow bark to detoxify and declog pores
- Bentonite clay keeps oil in check; glycolic acid gently exfoliates to make sure pores don’t clog up later
- Hypoallergenic & dermatologist tested
I have actually been using this Lemon & Sage Body Butter for awhile now & I was so sad when it finished but thankfully I was able to get my hand on another one. It's like they knew that I needed one & was like yes let us send her one but they also sent me their Grapefruit & Aloe Body Butter which if I had to pick between the 2 it would be the Grapefuit & Aloe. Oh my goodness that one smells like a walk on the beach with a fruit smoothie.
Overall I literally love Bliss products. This is one brand that I be using forever! My skin in this heat has never been more moisturized! Definitely a must have for these harsh humid days!
10/10 plus you can find some Bliss products in Target for a fraction of the cost! Which is even better!
