Beauty Tuesdays | Gallinee Face Vinegar

Washington, DC, USA
Happy Tuesdays my loves!

As I am writing this post...I am waiting for the leasing office to come and do some work in my apartment. So, I thought...why not just write a quick beauty blog post since today is Tuesday! You guys know that I am all for trying out new beauty products no problem...unless they are super fragranced then yeah not putting that on my face to risk a break out.

I had the opportunity to try a brand called Gallinee. Now, I know that they have way more products to choose from but I was curious about their Face Vinegar. As you guys know...even though this is a collaboration with Gallinee all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own!

So, one of the first things that I do whenever I am considering using a new product would be looking up to see what ingredients they used.

The key ingredients are:

Hibiscus Vinegar which is known for its astringent, exfoliating and soothing properties.

Algae Prebiotics which is a brand new ingredient that uses extracts from green and brown algae, sea water and marine polysaccharides. Together they act against signs of stress on the skin.

Prebiotics which contains a mix of ultra-gentle fibres adn sugars that feed your skin's good bacteria and helps support the skins barrier with an antibacterial action against the bad ones.

Lactic Acid is the gentlest of the AHAs. Lactic Acid helps the skin stay at its optimal pH level and has hydrating and softening properties. Gallinee uses a slow-release form to suit even sensitive skin.

Physiological PH which is in all of Gallinee products. Which is made to match the optimal pH of the skin and the microbiome.

What the Face Vinegar doesn't contain are soap, colourants, parabens, mineral oils, silicones etc the list goes on!

Okay, let's get into the actual review now shall we.

The smell isn't the best but it is tolerable. Also, I haven't seen any drastic changes to my skin since I started using the Face Vinegar. Compared to other toners that I have used in the past. I will probably continue using it just to see if I see any changes within the month and comeback with another review!
