OH, my goodness. I cannot believe that July is over. I am not going to lie. July was pretty uneventful. I didn't do much when it came to leaving my apartment and was barely writing anything on the blog or posting on social media. I wanted a break from things until my "vacation". Even though lets be real...when you work in social media...you never really get a real "vacation".

I finally booked my ticket to San Diego. There was a big debate on whether or not I was going to go again but in the end...my Mum and I ( who will be my photographer for this trip again ) decided on going.

I have been adding some inspirational quotes to some of my photos on instagram and you guys seem to be loving them as much as I am! Doesn't it just make you feel slightly better? That goes for anyone...even if you are in a great mood. It will make you feel better! Trust me.

I decided that whilst I am in San Diego...I will be posting a new a blog post a day! So, that means you guys will have a new blog post for 2 weeks along with vlogs! I am hoping to get my creative mojo back whilst I am there and well I did last time. I had so much new things to share with you guys. Hopefully this time...we will get to venture to more new and beautiful places.

Also...I am currently sitting in Compass Coffee ( which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone anymore ) writing this out before the month actually ends ( today is the 31st of July ) and I couldn't be happier with myself. I definitely posted June's recap so late and I wanted to knock this one out before I head to San Diego and started bombarding you guys with photos and of course vlogs!

Well this post is severely overdue! I am not going to lie. I actually forgot all about writing this post. I don't even remember if I did a ' May Favourites '. This would be the part where I opened a new tab on my laptop and pulled up my blog to check. Okay, well....I didn't. I am going to apologize in advance for skipping last month but I will talk about some of my favourite things in June.

Before I start I want to say a massive congrats again to my best-friend Sylvia and her husband for welcoming their babygirl into the world. Baby Elli. She is as gorgeous as her strong mama. I cannot wait until she gets a bit older and I will be spamming you guys with photos of her!

I will be booking my ticket to San Diego this upcoming week because well next month is August and I will be flying out again. This time it will be planned unlike my last visit there. Hopefully since majority of my family will be there it wont be as bad. Fingers crossed lol.

I finally hit 12k followers on Instagram! I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has followed me from the beginning until now. I am super thankful that you guys have faith in me. Should I do a massive giveaway for you guys? Let me know.....I feel like I should to be honest.

I know that I neglected my blog a bit. Well I think I mentioned this in a previous post but if I didn't ( my mind has been everywhere lately ) I will mention it again. Most of you guys know that aside from blogging I actually do/work Fashion Shows around the DC/VA area but lately I actually started dipping my toes into Film and Commercials! You guys will be seeing some of the commercials I work on TV soon! Don't worry I will be posting them here on the blog as well so you guys can watch it as well. It is something that I never thought I would be doing. I look at everything I watch completely differently now.

June was a month filled with ups & downs but I have learned a lot from it. I have also gotten used to being alone. It's not ideal but this is something that I am choosing for myself. I want to focus on myself and push myself. Everyday I wake up and I tell myself one thing that I love about myself. It actually works and it just brightens my day immensely. I personally think that this is something you guys should try. I am also going to try and lose the weight I gained from being depressed. I want to get rid of that low part of my life. It is like a constant reminder of the recent low point. Now I smile and I am sincere about it. I am not saying that my depression is 100% gone but I am working on eliminating it all together.

I did do some shopping but I also created a capsule-ish wardrobe which means I got rid of a lot of shit as well. 10 giant garbage bags filled with clothes, shoes and bags. I am not going to lie...it felt great.
