As the shoe addict I am..I am finding it hard to resist a beautiful pair of booties. Especially when they are on sale. I was able to snag these babies from H&M on sale and let me just say they were the perfect shade and just all around perfect for me. These beauties were $15 as apart of their pre-black friday shopping deals and I honestly just went in there to browse but didn't think I would be leaving out with a whole new pair of shoes!

Remember when I said that I was dipping my hand into a few projects? Surprise this is one of them! I am excited to announce that I will be co-hosting this fun filled event with Miss DC United States Porscha Taylor! How incredible is that!? Hold on let me go calm myself before continuing lol. Well first let me say sorry fellas it is " Ladies Only " which is another reason I was so eager to attend. Being in a room filled with strong, independent and powerful women who has shaped themselves into the entrepreneurs and bad-asses that they are. I needed to get myself into a room with them and pick their brains.
So, this post is dedicated to the strong women that will be featured on this awesome night. I will get right into introducing them and sharing something small about their business.
First up we have
Nerea of Aeren Waters!
She is a Mother, Scientist and an Optimist and the owner and creator of Aeren Waters which is a accessories line that you guys can check out here. She has enjoyed Fashion Design since she was a child always creating things that were unique to the standard eye. Nerea picked up sewing a few years ago and saw it as an creative outlet. Which with thrifted pieces she created fresh whole new looks that made everyone stop and stare. Who wouldn't love to imagine something unique and new? Nerea gives you that uniqueness you are looking for without breaking the bank!
Be sure to get some behind the scene action with Nerea at the Wonderland!
PS: I actually had the pleasure of meeting Nerea at another event and she is lovely!
Next is
Janell Henderson of The Working Beauty!
The Working Beauty is a Wardrobe and Image Consulting Company that make style convenient and affordable! Uh, yes please! Janell offers smaller prices than the average Fashion Stylist because she honestly thrifts everything she wears! How freaking awesome is that? I can definitely say that whenever I go thrifting I never find such amazing pieces! I need Janell in my corner. She has been a Fashion Stylist for a little over a year and she teaches her clients to think outside of the box when it comes to clothing.
" Style communicates who you are without ever opening your mouth. "
PS: The world is seriously OH so small! I actually went to NYFW and met Janell there at a Networking Event! How insane now that I am writing this introduction piece on her!
If you want to check out Janell's website then click here.
Lynette will be teaming up with Jewelry Designer Adriana Mendoza ( I will be introducing her next ). Lynette is the Owner , CEO , Lead Stylist , and the Curator of Vintage & Charmed located inside of The Anacostia Arts Center. Her shop is filled with fabulous vintage & designer one of a kind pieces. She shops vintage shops , flea markets , warehouse sales , estate sales you name it. When Lynette was younger she noticed her love for older clothing that her Mum used to take her too. Believe it or not Lynette has been a business owner for about 6 years now! How incredible right!
If you are interested in seeing Lynette's website then click here.
Of course you know who is next ( gave you guys a hint above ) it is the talented
Adriana Mendoza of So Me Designs
Adriana is an all around badass with a background in Biochemistry ( insert big eyed emoji here ) and she used to work for the National History Museum and now she works as a Landscape Architect. Uhm yes please! If you guys didn't know I history was my favourite subject in highschool so I am definitely a fan. Adriana has always loved making jewelry since the tender end of 6!
" Inspired by the many places I have traveled, I incorporate different techniques and materials into every unique piece that I design and handcraft. I enjoy working with metals, beads, polymer clay, wood, found objects, fabric, leather, glass...the possibilities are endless. Works of art come together at my workbench as elements find each other through proximity, association, and chance.
Jewelry has the power to create moods, provoke opinions, and produce reactions. My ultimate goal is to evoke beauty, strength and imagination through the use of striking color and innovative design in each piece. Jewelry, like clothing, is an expression of individuality; my pieces are meant to enhance your own personal style. If picking up a piece of my jewelry has you saying 'this is so me', then I have accomplished my goal. "
Beautiful words from a beautiful soul.
You can check out Adriana's website here.

You know when you find that one item and think " Yeah you are coming home with me? " That is how I felt when I first laid my eyes on these ' Patched Denim '.
My love for patches began with my mini backpack that I got when I went on my random trip to New York. I thought that it was super cute and it practically go with everything that I bought it. Lo and behold I have been using this backpack everyday. I think it is screaming for me to give it a break now.
I randomly walked into TJMaxx to kill time ( I normally get all of my journals and planners from there and Marshalls ) and ended up browsing the Junior section. I came across these jeans and was so sad that they didn't have my size. I think I was fated to have these jeans because I went to another location and there they were in my size waiting to be bought.
Of course you guys know that whenever I buy something new I tend to wear it the very next day and that was the case with these beauties. Left and right everyone was asking me where I got them and didn't believe me when I said I got them from TJMaxx!
Pairing the Patched Denim with a Black Trench and a White Button Up ( my staple go to's ) was the best way to really showcase the jeans.
I am all about Fashion on a Budget. It is all about how you style it.
Trench: F21 | Top: Thrifted | Denim: TJMaxx | Shoes: F21 | Fedora: F21 | Backpack: F21 | Belt: Yoins
PS: This is my new hair colour lol! This is the last colour I am changing my hair too before Winter! I will have a different hairstyle all together!
On another note I am going to start linking the items again for you lovelies to shop! Now that I have some time on my hands again!

I am trying my hand at Turtlenecks again. When I was younger I honestly hated the crap out of " Turtlenecks " I mean come one who came up with the name?
Random side note I actually had 2 pet turtles as a kid. Lol.
Anyways, working at Forever 21 ( not for much longer ) I am constantly surrounded by Fashion and everyday we add new items to the store. So, in a way I get first dibs on whats new and trending. It is a blessing and a curse all at the same time. Why? I want to buy everything I see but I also have to be realistic. I have absolutely NO space in my wardrobe for anymore shit. The temptation is strong and I must admit that I have been swayed numerous times.
Like for instance this Grey Turtleneck Sweater ( with a slit ). Super soft and something I definitely saw myself wearing again in the harsh Winter months. As you guys know I hate Winter with a passion so I am really trying to upgrade my oversized knit collection. Honestly I want to get on Emma's level! If you guys do not know her then you are missing out! She is one of my favourite British Bloggers! You can check out her website here! I always turn to her for inspiration and just chat with her when I need to pick her brain. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet. I admire her for being just straight up and to the point. One day I will get on her level. LOL.
Since I was going to work ( second job ) I have to dress Business Casual there. Which I don't mind at all. I think of it as a balance. I wear jeans at F21 and everything else at the Salon. For this look I opted for these high-waisted Trousers from F21. I also added a pair of Brogues to top it off. I was going to say a Fedora but honestly at this point are you guys even surprised anymore about my Fedora obsession?
Trousers: F21 | Turtleneck: F21 | Shoes: H&M | Leather Jacket: F21 | Fedora: F21 | Backpack: F21

I love writing. There is something about putting pen to paper that is just soothing to me. Because of this I find myself going through a sh*t tone of journals. Don't get me wrong I love it! I can go back and read everything I have ever written and hand it down to my adorable niece!
At first I used to just write in composition notebooks but now I find myself trying to find journals with inspirational quotes on it and of course in it. Helps gets my creative juices flowing. Here are a few new journals that have blessed my work desk.
Marshalls and Tjamxx are my go to places for cute and of course affordable!

There are days that even I want a break from Jeans. Whenever that happens I find myself leaning more towards sporty looks as apposed to attempting to wear leggings as pants. I will honestly say that is one trend I will NOT be hopping on. I find that styling a perfectly amazing pair of joggers does the trick. These aren't the kind of joggers you will see in Forever 21 but actually ones you can wear to the office ( If you are feeling bold enough ).
These particular Joggers I found hidden on a random visit to H&M. They were on sale and at first they didn't peak my interest because of the long bright red stripe that runs along the side. Which if you think about it kinda turns them into Tuxedo Joggers lol. Weird but true.
Whenever I am rocking the " Sporty Look " I tend to go all natural as well. NO makeup whatsoever. I don't see the point honestly.
Who knows maybe these Joggers will be making another appearance on the blog soon!

I can definitely say that blogging has changed my life and for the better and I could also say that my wardrobe and personal style has changed dramatically as well.
How so?
Well I have always loved Fashion that much is a given but when I was in high-school I was so focused on being a Fashion Designer but when my Fashion Design Instructor ( she was racist ) I needed another creative outlet. This is when I decided to dip my toes into Marketing and from there I knew what I wanted to do. Fast forward and I did Business Management because that is what my Mum wanted me to do and I hated it. I wanted to express myself but I felt like I had to conform to how she wanted me to be. NORMAL. I wasn't normal and I will never be.
I decided to tell her that Business wasn't for me and decided to attend Art School. There I was surrounded by individuals who shared the same passion and goals as me and it was exciting and quite liberating. That is when I decided to start blogging. At first it was supposed to be with a friend but she bailed at the last minute when I first created ' Lelondonchic '. Then I tried with another friend and in the end decided that it would be better if I blogged alone. After failed attempts ( hacking ) and taking photos on my phone at the time, I thought it will get better if I work harder. I am glad to this day that I didn't quit.
Blogging is like a job.
If you want to think of it like that. When I first started I just wanted to share my outfits with everyone. I wasn't using Instagram that often ( I posted every 2 weeks ) or any other social media outlets. Which I should have been but that is just how much I didn't know actually went into blogging. I didn't have a niche. I literally just blogged whatever. I didn't know my audience. Which goes back to the failed attempts and why I thought about quitting. I also was just throwing outfits together. Why was I styling it? Who would wear something like this? When I look back to all the old clothing I owned ( now officially donated after a massive wardrobe purge ) I could see why I wanted to just throw in the towel.
Fast forward to where I am now and let me just say. Research and knowing your niche and your audience helps immensely. I feel like I have found my calling. I cut out the negative people in my life and replaced it with people who hustle in the same field as I do. That's another reason why I didn't quit blogging. The blogging community. They welcomed me with such open arms it was crazy and to think now I am the one with open arms welcoming new Fashion Bloggers even Food Bloggers to the world.
Let me not get started on my wardrobe. Like I mentioned above I did a massive wardrobe purge and now I mainly stick to a neutrals. My wardrobe before was so colorful it was overwhelming when it came to styling whereas now it is so easy because I have found my niche. Minimalism. I feel like since I am getting older ( I am 24 lol ) I am also maturing so I want more of a steady color palette as well. Since I changed up the way I dress I get more women ( & men ) stopping me and asking me where something I am wearing is from. Which I am always happy to share. This is why I started blogging.
Blogging has definitely opened so many doors for me since I started and I wouldn't be where I am now or have met the amazing people I have met along the way. Look out for all the crazy and fun things I have in store for ' Lelondonchic '! Trust me when I say it is going to be epic!
Thank you for sticking with me throughout this entire journey! I appreciate you guys more than you know!
Later Babes!
