I am gearing up for another quick trip to NYC & I couldn't be happier but with constant travel especially on a cramped bus comes dirty skin! I normally apply my makeup on the bus so that way I can sleep but it is still just a hassle. Waking up early, hopping on a bus & going to congested NYC always has an weird affect on my skin and on my health.

With the constant change in scenery... I need to use products that are perfect for bipolar weather. I love having clean and clear skin! I mean come on name one person that likes randomly breaking out plus I hear adult acne is no fun! That is why I review all these products so you guys can try them & see if they work for you!

I was recently given the opportunity to try a new brand on the block names " ASARAI ". Trust me when I say I don't even know if I am pronouncing it right! Like I was saying I was given the chance to test a few of their products of my choice. I picked the " Come Clean Cleanser ", " Earth Tones Mask ", " Response Theory Daily Serum ", and the " Sleepercell Retinol Serum ".

First let me talk about the packaging! I am a sucker for cute packaging so Asarai definitely earned a point for that. Another thing I like is the fact that it is yellow! For some odd reason... yellow just immediately changes my mood. Also makes me smile. Yellow brings happy thoughts. Another plus! I love that they also included a turn key which helps with the Cleanser and the Mask. You want to make sure you use all of the product that is in the tube. Hip hip hooray!

Let's jump into the pro's & the con's shall we? The first product were going to talk about is my all time favourite! The Earth Tones Mask!

I love love love this mask! I don't have any cons about it because it is amazing! It is a therapeutic Australian Red Clay Mask. It detoxifies and brighten for glowy skin. 10/10 for sure. I feel like some of you might get thrown off about the price. The mask is $30 but this is one product that I wont mind swiping my card for!

Next would be the Gentle Cleanser! Key word gentle! It is a soft gel to milk cleanser that creates fresh clean skin! I use this before the mask and let me just say it is a great mix! I went & shot a look with no makeup and just cleaned my face and I was surprised by the compliments I was getting for my glowing skin.

I don't have a con yet. Maybe this will be updated soon as I keep using it.

The next product would be the Sleepercell Retinol Serum. I don't sleep. Seriously.... I swear I suffer from insomnia because I do NOT sleep! This is definitely one product that I love love love to death! Another 10/10!

Last but not least would be Daily Serum. This I always make the error of not using daily because I am currently using my Saturday Skin daily moisturizer. I don't like using one until the other is finished.

Well overall I would give Asarai about a 10/10! I love this and I will definitely be swiping my card going forward.

Oh Monday how I love & hate you at the same time. I find myself sitting infront of my computer staring at a blank page for what seemed like eternity! I don't see how bloggers could do this. I literally have to write everything that I want to post on my blog in my notebook then transfer everything. I find it so much easier to come up with words when I have to write them down! That is just me though.

Spring is here THANK GOD but my goodness is it still freezing outside. Mother Nature cannot make up her mind on what she wants so were stuck suffering between gorgeous Spring Days & cold windy days. Why? For this look in particular even though the sun was shining and the day seemed beautiful....it was SO BLOODY COLD! I did take my coat off to shoot this look really quickly and randomly. Even standing in the sun didn't help much with the wind. It sucks but that is literally what were dealing with here right now in DC.

This was just a simple coffee spot look but because I was wearing a trending piece ( that everyone owns ) which is the Checkered Blazer. I styled it with a basic white button up, blue denim and white sneakers.

My love for beauty products continues to grow as I am faced with another dilemma! I have no space for my ever growing stash. I am in the process of making new for my new products and the products that I want to continue using. I am beyond ready to move into a bigger space with more room so that way I can keep everything. At the moment I do feel a little like a beauty product hoarder.

We all know what a brand new week means! Beauty Tuesdays and me visiting my favourite coffee spot! This time I will be talking about a brand called Saturday Skin! You can check out their website here.

A little about the brand. Saturday Skin believes that our skin should feel as good as you do when you wake up refreshed. Their products are developed to reveal your clearest and dewiest complexion.

Let's be real after a long and stressful week and to mention wearing makeup...it is good even great to pamper yourself on the weekends. That is one thing that I am getting better at and with the proper products...I make it happen. Even though the brand is called " Saturday Skin " I pamper myself on Sundays.

This is a collaboration with Saturday Skin but as you all know and I keep repeating myself...all thoughts and opinions are 100% MY OWN!

The best thing about this collaboration was that I was able to pick which goodies I wanted to test out and review for you all. Also I loved the fact that they also threw in some options that I didn't pick on their own. Let me just say thank you once again & I am in no shape or form complaining at all.

I received "Wide Awake" ( Eye Brightening Cream ), "Balancing Act" ( Skin Smoothing Lotion ), "Spotlight" ( 5 Brightening Masks ), "Quench" ( 5 Intense Hydration Masks ), and last but not least "Rise+Shine" ( Gentle Cleanser ).

Since I am reviewing quite a number of products I am going to just jump right into it! Also all their products were made in Korea and I have been obsessing hard with Korean Beauty Products because my skin has never looked nor felt better!

The first product that I will be reviewing in going to be the "Rise+Shine" Cleanser. It's a soft whipped cleanser that combines hydrating get with a bouncy-creamy texture for healthy-looking skin.

Pro's:

The smell is amazing & it is lightweight. As you know that is one of the first things I look for when trying out a new product. I use this mainly at night especially after I am shooting and really need a fresh face. I have a love hate relationship with makeup at the moment and I think it is always changing as I get older.

Cons:

The first con would be the size. I am someone who washes their face EVERY SINGLE DAY and when I like a product...I tend to use that product a lot. The other con would be the price. I do like this product but I am not sure if I want to dish out $26 every time it runs out. Who knows I liked the way my face felt after using the cleanser so I will cry and swipe my card.

Next will be "Wide Awake" Eye Cream. I am actually reviewing the in the order that i have been using them so it makes it easier to talk about. The cream brightens and refreshes the area around the eyes. Which I definitely need since I don't like to sleep.

Pros:

I don't have to use as much concealer to cover the bags under my eyes. I was using the eye cream from Amala which decided to crank out on me & stop working. Which is why I needed to try something new & better. Hopefully with this one I wont need to use concealer at all. I am trying to limit my use of makeup products.

Cons:

Um the only con I have about this product would be the price! This eye cream is $46 and as much as I love it to death...I will part ways with it and find a much affordable version once it is finished.

After the eye cream I would use "Balancing Act" Lotion. It contains soothing magnolia vine extracts which restores the skin's oil and water balance.

Pros:

Smells like life in a bottle! This is so random but I love the shape of the bottle. I love pretty packaging so that was another pro for me. Perfect everyday moisturizer. Definitely helped with the bipolar weather that we have been having as well.

Cons:

Price. Tis all!

On the weekends is when I would use the Masks. Depending on the day I normally would use the Hydrating Mask on Saturday's and the Brightening Masks on Sunday's. I will actually review both masks at the same time because I am pretty sure you guys are tired of reading by now.

I love masks but the thing is since my face & head are quite small these masks never fit me properly. The struggle is real when it comes to pampering myself with masks. I guess that would a con for sure. I have naturally oily skin so when I tried "Quench" for the first time...my face was extremely dewy! So, that is definitely for someone who suffers from dry skin. "Spotlight" on the other hand is amazing and I love it! My skin did appear brighter after one use which is a plus HOWEVER... if you are able to dish out $30 for only 5 masks then you are drunk! I typically go to Lotte World to stock up on my masks because they always have a deal! 10 for $10! That sounds like a better deal to me and they much more of a variety to choose from.

Overall I would rate Saturday Skin 8/10!

See you next Tuesday!

I shot these photos and I felt so proud of my outfit until I viewed the photos afterwards and I was shocked. I looked like a round butterball in my abdominal area...which sucks but since I have a abnormally small torso & toned legs; majority of my weight sits in my abdominal area.

That is why I decided I needed a change for the better. I needed to create a healthier lifestyle for myself. Which meant a change in my diet and getting back into the gym. Even though I could normally hide my tummy in oversized clothing...I was beginning to become unhappy with how I allowed myself to become. I became lazy & I needed to change that for sure.

The funny thing is...with the weight I have gained. I was still smiling. Why? Because I knew that if I put my mind to it I could change. I also wasn't changing for anyone but myself. I was becoming happy for myself.

With that being said I wanted to share my fitness journey with you all. I wanted to create a hashtag on Instagram for anyone who wanted to follow along on my journey or who wanted to join my journey!

My main goal is to look & feel my best this year. I decided to go to the gym with my Mum and my little sister this past weekend and for someone who stopped working out it was the worst idea ever! Although, I am extremely thankful that they pushed me past my limit & gave my the encouragement that I needed...being sore the next day wasn't my cuppa tea.

I am super excited to be going to the gym with them this coming weekend. We worked legs this past weekend and this upcoming weekend we will be working Arms & Abs. Not looking forward to abs though but that is where my weight lies.

Will be posting an update soon!

Oh man! Sorry that I haven't posted a new Beauty Tuesdays post in awhile guys! It has been a little over a month since I did a review & I know a few of you guys were wondering if the series was over but I am here to reassure you that is it not! I actually was really sick so I had to take a break from creating content to get better!

So, I stocked up on a few a Beauty Tueadays posts for you guys! Yay!

I had the opportunity to try 2 products from a company called Cosmedix. If you've never heard if them no worries...the most important thing you need to know is that they are 100% cruelty free.

The products I received were the Gentle Cleanser & the Purity Solution ( cleansing oil ).

The Benefit Cleanser is a lightweight, foaming cleanser rich in antioxidants that removes that removes debris and pollutants from your skin. It also removes stubborn makeup whilst being gentle enough for sensitive skin.

Pros:

You've done the unthinkable and fell asleep with your makeup on... oh the horror! Okay, we've all done it before even when your not supposed too. To be honest that is what I did. So, reading up on the Cleanser... I decided to use it first thing in the morning after brushing my teeth.

My face did feel refreshed which is always a plus in my book. Plus being cruelty free is always a plus in my book.

Cons:

Yes, it's an awesome product but if you're on a budget like I am then dishing out $40 for products. It can add up.

Another con would be the smell. It is not my cup of tea but the product does work well.

Next was the Cleansing Oil. It contains a blend of Olive, Moringa, Kukui, Safflower, Sesame and Argan Oil. Works to break down dirt, excess oil ( which works for my oily skin ) and nourishes the skin with vitamins.

I use this as my makeup remover cause I have been using unscented baby wipes. No shame. Thankful that I have an actual product to use!

Cons:

Just like the Cleanser I cannot deal with the price. I always try and find you guys affordable items that wont break the bank.

Overall 8/10

I think that this is one product that I wouldn't mind dishing out $40 ( the oil ). I would cry on the inside swiping my card. I have another exciting review coming next week so stay tuned guys!

Am I the only one waiting for Spring?! Don't get me wrong. I love wearing Chunky Knits, Oversized Sweaters with OTK Boots ( Over the Knee ) but at this point I am over it! Bring me warmer weather and maybe just maybe a tropical paradise. I am not a fan of Summer because I mean who likes to sweat in places they didn't know they can sweat & wearing skimpy barely there clothing isn't my cup of tea either.

I have been messing around with my personal style again and coming up with looks that works for me and I think you guys will love them as much as I do.

Spring means...light layers and denim skirts. So, I will be styling some of my favourite denim skirts for you guys! I normally stray away from the skirts but I decided to live for myself this year and dressing out of my comfort zone is something on my list.

Since we're still currently suffering in this harsh bipolar Winter I wanted to show you guys this quick look that I threw together when I went to brunch this past Saturday. We visited this Irish-esque restaurant and they had a buffet style option ( which I didn't go for ) and the option of ordering from the main menu. I ordered this very delicious Vegetarian omelette and a side of fresh fruit! The portions were so big that I knew that I wasn't able to finish. Nonetheless the food was delicious and I was able to catch part of a Chelsea match. The score was 2-0 before we left!

How are you guys liking these impromptu photos? I love the idea of not having to scout for locations and you just shoot wherever!
